As I wrote in a previous article, I recently purchased a Samsung NC10 netbook. Like most recent netbooks, the NC10 comes standard with 1 GB RAM. For the typical netbook uses of web browsing and checking email, 1 GB RAM is plenty. However, if you are a power user like me and you want to do some serious multi-tasking, you’ll probably want to upgrade to 2 GB RAM. In this NerdBoys.com exclusive, I’ll show you how to upgrade your NC10 from 1 GB RAM to 2 GB RAM.
Unfortunately, the NC10 comes with only one memory slot. That means you cannot simply add a new 1 GB RAM module. Instead, you’ll have to remove the existing 1 GB RAM module and replace it with a new 2 GB RAM module. Don’t worry, though, RAM is cheap.
