Today a user received this warning when opening an email: “Office File Validation detected a problem while trying to open this file. Opening it may be dangerous”. The error only occurred when the email he was opening was formatted as Rich Text (i.e. RTF file). I’m sure many of you have seen the curvaceous POM Wonderful juice bottles in your local supermarket. I’ve seen them too…and walked right past them without even giving it a second thought. Until now, that is.
Last night I was checking out the latest offerings on Netflix when my wife spotted the Morgan Spurlock documentary The Greatest Movie Ever Sold. Here’s the description from Netflix: “Intrepid filmmaker Morgan Spurlock (Super Size Me) directs this bitingly ironic documentary, which scrutinizes the pervasive marketing, advertising and product placement practices that have become de rigueur in the entertainment industry.”
